Coral Springs Solid Waste and Recycling Programs

Curbside Pickup

Your bulk trash and vegetative waste will be collected once per week on your first garbage collection day of the week. Bulk and vegetative waste may be placed at the curb no earlier than 7:00 p.m. the evening before your collection day. A published schedule will be mailed to you and a collection schedule for all services will also be posted on the City’s website. Other guidelines include:

  1.  Bulk and yard waste items include household goods such as couches, chairs, mattresses, tables, appliances (white goods), carpet and padding, etc. It also includes unbundled yard waste such as tree trimmings, branches, palm fronds, tree branches and brush.
  2.  Place all items for collection within (5) feet of the street by 7:00 am on the scheduled pick-up day to ensure pick-up.
  3.  Bulk items must be placed curbside in a neat and orderly manner and clear of mailboxes, utility poles, fences, etc.
  4.  Bulk waste and yard waste materials must be generated by the resident at the residential unit where the bulk is collected.
  5. The allowable limit for bulk and vegetative yard trash collection is (6) six cubic yards of waste per bulk/vegetative waste service day. This limit is equivalent to (3) three refrigerators side by side. If your pile is larger than (6) six cubic yards, it will be tagged, and you will need to call Waste Pro and request a special bulk pick up. The bulk pile will be surveyed, and an estimate given at a rate of $15.00 per yard for yardage over the 6 cubic yard limit. You may opt to keep the additional trash and set it out on your next bulk collection day for no additional charge, if it is within the allowable limit. Residents are allowed three oversized piles annually.  You must call Waste Pro to schedule this pickup and inform them that you want to use one of your three annually allowable oversized pick-ups.
  6.  Construction materials such as roofing material, tile, concrete, bricks, stones, etc. is considered part of your bulk waste. Waste Pro will collect up to (2) two yards of construction and demolition debris per bulk collection day. The (2) cubic yards of construction and demolition debris is part of, and not in addition to, the (6) six cubic yard bulk limit per bulk collection day.
  7.  Vegetative yard trash may be set out to the curb in biodegradable bags, plastic bags or rigid containers. Vegetative yard trash may also be tied bundled or stacked in piles at curbside.
  8.  There is no size limit on length, weight or diameter of a single piece of vegetative yard trash.
  9.  Please click here for a map of your service area (PDF).
