Waste Pro Vice President Honored with Hispanic Chamber Award
LONGWOOD, FL – April 11, 2024—Waste Pro Vice President of Post Collections Mike Fernandez was recently honored by the South Florida Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (SFLHCC). The awards luncheon honors the top Hispanic community leaders who have made significant and positive contributions in South Florida.
“To be recognized by this organization is a true honor and privilege. The SFLHCC leads the way in promoting and elevating great leaders in South Florida, many of whom are part of the Hispanic community. I take great pride in representing Waste Pro at the annual SFLHCC Hispanic Leadership Awards event, and I feel the same pride for my Hispanic community and our environment. It’s great when those two come together for this honor,” Mike said.
The South Florida Hispanic Chamber of Commerce was founded 29 years ago. It is considered one of the top five Hispanic Chambers of Commerce of the United States, offering its members different activities to network and meet possible business prospects. The SFLHCC has over 1,200 members and advocates for thousands of Hispanic businesses in Florida. It is comprised of dedicated professional individuals and business owners who have come together to advance the commercial, financial, educational, and civic interests of the ever-growing Hispanic Community of South Florida.
