LONGWOOD, FL – May 3rd, 2016 – Waste Pro honored a group of seven employees with its Eagle Award for Sales Excellence. Established since the company’s inception, the award is presented to sales team members who exceed annual performance goals. The top three winners for 2015 are: Steve Giganti, Brittany Hicks and Richard Castle.
Steve Giganti is a two-time winner of the Eagle Award. He has been part of the Waste Pro team since 2013 and currently serves surrounding areas of Coral Springs, Florida. He has been instrumental in customer service auditing and in coordinating hazardous waste collection events, as well as in securing large commercial contracts.
“Steve has shown over and over again his willingness to work tirelessly,” said Waste Pro Senior Vice President Ralph Velocci. “He has built excellent relationships in the Coral Springs community.”
Brittany Hicks has been part of the Waste Pro team since 2012 and currently serves surrounding areas of Asheville and Hendersonville, North Carolina. As a territory manager, she primarily focuses on leading sales campaigns. She is also very active in her community as a member of the Junior League of Asheville and Young Professionals of Asheville, as well as a board member for the Asheville Affiliates.
“Brittany’s excellent work ethic, enthusiasm and eagerness to jump in and help out are a winning combination that set her apart,” said Ralph Velocci.
Richard Castle joined the Waste Pro team in 2015 and has more than fifteen years of experience in the service industry. He currently serves the Winter Park, Florida area and has assisted City staff with projects such as audits for the City Utilities Department and hazmat day. He has also assisted City staff in coordinating programs to educate commercial customers on the safe and proper use of compactors.
“Richard is truly an example of ‘The Distinguishable Difference’ through his approach to sales and customer service,” said Ralph Velocci. “He thinks outside the box and has a problem solving mentality.”
Performance awards were also presented to four runner-ups: Jeff Davis, North Carolina Business Development Manager; Mike Davis, Pensacola, Florida Sales Representative; David Perez, Hollywood, Florida Territory Manager; and Ozzie Daubar, Pembroke Pines, Florida Territory Manager.
