LONGWOOD, FL – April 7, 2026— The Florida Institute of CFOs (fiCFO) has honored Waste Pro with a Rising Star Award for the third consecutive year. This year’s recipient, Junior Financial Analyst Vanessa Gonzalez, was recognized for her exceptional contributions and growing impact on the company’s success.

Nominated by Vice President of Finance Ryan Lebeau, Vanessa has become a key contributor to Waste Pro’s financial performance and operational strategy. In her role as Corporate Junior Financial Analyst, she partners with senior leadership to analyze complex financial data, identify trends, and translate insights into actionable strategies that improve efficiency, manage costs, and drive profitability across the organization.
“I’m incredibly honored and grateful for the confidence my team has placed in me,” said Vanessa. “What makes this recognition so meaningful is being part of an organization that prioritizes people and impact. I’m proud to carry forward the example set by those recognized before me and to continue growing alongside such an inspiring group.”
A third-generation professional in the waste and recycling industry, Vanessa brings a unique perspective that bridges financial strategy with real-world operations. Her understanding of field operations and customer service strengthens Waste Pro’s ability to make informed, data-driven decisions that support long-term, sustainable growth. Beyond her professional achievements, Vanessa is actively engaged in industry and company initiatives. She is a member of the Women In Trucking Association and participates in Waste Pro’s People, Planet, and Profit Project (P4 Initiative), supporting diversity, sustainability, and ethical business practices.
