LONGWOOD, FL – April 6th – Waste Pro has announced the appointment of Chief Financial Officer, Cort Sabina, to the Board of Directors.
With nearly 30 years of experience of accounting and financial management experience, Sabina has served in several roles with Waste Pro, including Corporate Controller and Chief Accounting Officer. Currently, he serves as their Vice President and Chief Financial Officer and has been with Waste Pro since 2006.
Prior to joining the Waste Pro Team, he worked with one of the nation’s largest Taft-Hartley Health and Welfare and Pension Funds, Central States Southeast and Southwest and areas in Chicago, where he spent 10 years, before moving to Ernst & Young.
Sabina entered the solid waste and recycling industry as a Division Controller for Allied Waste in Chicago before moving to Florida in 2000 to join Florida Recycling Services.
Sabina is a member of the Rollins College Financial Leadership Network (FLN), as part of the CFO Council, in addition to being a member of the Florida Institute of CFOs (fiCFO).
