Charlotte, NC- December 5, 2013 – Waste Pro has announced the addition of Robert W. Allen as Municipal Marketing Manager for North Carolina. Allen will be based from Waste Pro’s Regional Operations Facility in Concord.Allen has a long history of government service and volunteerism, and is completing on December 10, four years of public service as a Councilman of Indian Trail, NC.

Allen has been instrumental in working with all Indian Trail elected officials and staff in facilitating strong growth, which includes the construction of three municipal parks and a $60 million dollar commercial development project. Allen has also served as the Community Outreach Coordinator of Habitat for Humanity and has provided valuable insight as a member of several municipal planning committees.
Born in Waynesboro, VA, currently a resident of Indian Trail, Allen is a member of the Centralina Council of Governments, which is comprised of 9 counties and focuses on regional development and best practices of local government. Additionally, he is the Co-Founder of the Indian Trail Business Association, which assists local businesses with valuable educational opportunities and increasing outreach and profitability of the local small business community. He also was the owner of R.W. Allen Financial Services.
