SANFORD, FL – March 29, 2021 – Waste Pro Founder and Executive Board Chairman John Jennings recently had the honor of hosting four waste industry leaders during a visit to the company’s one-of-a-kind garbage truck museum.
During a visit on March 10 to the museum, located in Sanford, FL, Jennings was joined by Senior VP Ralph Velocci and Museum Curator Scott Collier to give the tour of the museum.
The visitors included Tim Klein, former Equipment Distributor in the Northeastern US; Norm Taylor, former COO of the Donno Company which was the largest waste company on Long Island, NY; Mick D’Onofrio, former President of Automated Waste; and John Lawson, former President of IWS.
Jennings has a long history with these leaders – he and Velocci worked with Lawson at IWS and D’Onofrio at Waste Management before Jennings founded Waste Pro. He also worked for Donno Co. during summers on Long Island when he was in college.
“I learned during that time how they stood out from their competition and earned the respect of employees and customers alike, and I took that experience and knowledge with me when I started Waste Pro 20 years ago,” Jennings said.
