In observance of these holidays, Waste Pro will not be collecting solid waste and recycling.

- Thanksgiving Day
- Christmas Day
For the remainder of the week, service will occur the next day.
- Monday moves to Tuesday
- Tuesday moves to Wednesday
- Wednesday moves to Thursday
- Thursday moves to Friday
- Friday moves to Saturday
For all other holidays, there will be no service interruptions.

Residential household garbage is collected one time per week on Tuesday’s
Each home is provided a 96-gallon garbage cart (BLUE lid.) All household garbage must be bagged and placed inside the container. Waste Pro will only pick up what is inside of the provided container. Other guidelines are as follows:
• Place your BLUE lid 96 gallon garbage cart for collection adjacent to, but not in the street by 6:30 a.m. on the scheduled pickup days.
• Cart handles and wheels should be facing the home, with cart opening facing the street and should be 3 feet or more from other objects such as cars, mailboxes, trees, etc.
• Recycling containers will not be dumped on garbage service days.
• Hazardous waste will not be collected curbside. For details on disposal of hazardous waste please go to the Beaufort County Solid Waste website at www.bcgov.net.
If you have yard waste, large bulky items, or trash that will not fit into your container please call the Town of Port Royal at 843-986-2215. Bulk pick ups are handled through the Town of Port Royal public works.
Recycling is picked up every other Wednesday. Items should be placed in your GREEN lid
or marked recycling bin; separation of items is not required. All items should be
cleaned, rinsed, and labels removed.
