Holiday Schedule

Starting August 24th, residents residing within the city limits of Dade City will have a new collection schedule for household trash collection. Your new collection schedule will be Mondays and Thursdays. Recycling schedules will remain the same.

Starting August 5th, customers who DO NOT reside within the city limits of the City of New Port Richey, and Dade City will have a new recycling service day. Your new service day will be Wednesday.

Please continue to follow your current guidelines for this change. Thank you for your patience and for being a Waste Pro customer.

Holiday Schedule

JD Parker & Sons does not collect solid waste and recycling in observance of:

  • Independence Day, Observed July 3, 2026
  • Thanksgiving Day
  • Christmas Day
  • New Year’s Day

Please note the following changes to the 2026 pick-up schedule for these holidays.

Thanksgiving Day:

  • If your pick-up day is Thursday, November 26th, your solid waste and recycling will be picked up on Friday, November 27th.
  • If your pick-up day is Friday, November 27th, your solid waste and recycling will be picked up on Saturday, November 28th.

Christmas Day:

  • If your pick-up day is Friday, December 25th, your solid waste and recycling will be picked up on Saturday, December 26th.

New Year’s Day:

  • If your pick-up day is Friday, January 1st, your solid waste and recycling will be picked up on Saturday, January 2nd.

The pick-up schedule will remain unchanged for ALL other holidays.

    • Trash will continue to be collected twice weekly on Tuesdays and Fridays. (Use your current containers or rolling carts. New carts can be purchased or leased if needed)
    • Recycling will be collected on Fridays once a week. (Use your current containers. Bins are available upon request, and new rolling carts can be purchased or leased if needed.)
    • Yard Waste will be collected with garbage twice weekly on Tuesdays and Fridays. Bundle or stack in neat piles; debris cannot be more than 4 feet long and weigh more than 50 pounds or two cubic yards in volume.
    • Bulk Items and White Goods are considered a special pick-up, so please call JD Parker and Sons/Waste Pro to make arrangements.
