Construction/Demolition Waste
waste building materials, packaging, and rubble resulting from construction, remodeling, repair, or demolition operations on houses, commercial buildings, and other structures. Such wastes include, but are not limited to, masonry materials, sheet rock, roofing waste, insulation (not including asbestos) scrap metal, and wood products. Uncontaminated concrete, soil, brick, old or weathered waste asphalt paving, ash resulting from the combustion of untreated wood, rock, and similar materials are excluded from this definition. (335-13-1-.03(31).
Industrial Waste
Solid waste generated by manufacturing or industrial processes that is not a hazardous waste regulated under Subtitle C of RCRA (as defined in 335-13-1-.03(63). Scrap tires, Residual Short Fiber (RSF), wastewater treatment plant sludge, Recycling Fiber (RF), compactor waste, Old Corrugate Container (OCC), coarse screen reject waste, RF Sand Separator Waste, and construction/demolition waste generated at the Kimberly-Clark Corporation Mobile Facility; primary clarifier sludge, beater room rejects generated a the Mobile Paperboard Secondary Fiber Paper Mill; Sedimentation Basin and Fiber Blackwash Residual Solids from Mobile Area Water and Sewer System (MAWSS); hydropulp fiber from Material Recovery Corp; Blast Grit from Alabama Shipyard; Paint Flakes from Paint Blasting and Spent Black Blast Media generated at Blakeley Boat Works, Berge Pipe, and Spent Paint Powder all in Mobile County, Alabama.
