BULK PICKUP
Up to 8 cubic yards of bulk trash and vegetative yard waste is collected weekly. Click Here to find your bulk pickup day.
Bulk items can include household goods such as couches, chairs, mattresses, tables, appliances, carpet, etc.
Yard waste can include unbundled yard waste such as tree branches, palm fronds, and brush.
Prohibited Items For Bulk Trash Collection:
- Construction Materials
- Tree Trimmings Removed by a Tree Servicing Company
- Paint
- Any Hazardous Waste – Per North Miami Code Section 9-25

- Paperback Books and Phone Books
- Cardboard (flatten all boxes)
- Magazines and Catalogs
- Newspapers and Newspaper Inserts
- Loose Office Paper and File Folders (without wax liners)
- Paper Bags
Never Recycle:
- Plastic Grocery Bags or Wrap
- Garbage
- Wrapping Paper, Gift Wrap, etc.
- Styrofoam
- Electronics
- Hardback Books
- Ceramics or Dishes
- Food Waste
- Motor Oil Containers
- Household Hazardous Waste (engine oil, paint, gasoline, batteries, pesticides, etc.)
- Light Bulbs, Window Glass or Mirrors
- Yard Waste
