Welcome Residents of Jackson County
Effective January 2, 2026, Waste Pro will be your new solid waste service provider.
We sincerely appreciate the opportunity to service the residents of Jackson County.
- If you are currently receiving service, NO FURTHER ACTION IS REQUIRED.
- Cart delivery will begin the week of December 8, 2025.
- Customers will be notified in advance of any service day changes.
- Customers will be billed quarterly at $22.63 per month.
- Additional carts are available for $4.64 per month.
- New rate is effective January 1, 2026
- Expect to receive a quarterly invoice at the beginning of January 2026.
- Please call our office at 850-993-2070 if you do not receive a cart by December 19, 2025.
GARBAGE
- Please place your garbage cart at the curb the night before your assigned collection day to ensure that your collection is not missed.
- Please leave at least three feet of clearance between the carts and any other object, such as your mailbox.
- The lid of the cart should be closed with the handle facing the residence.
- Additional carts can be requested for an additional fee. Please contact us at 850-993-2070

- Non-hazardous household solid waste
EXCLUDED ITEMS
- Any and all construction and yard debris
- White goods such as refrigerators, washers, or dryers
- Bulk items (mattress,furniture, etc.)
- Tires
- Pallets
- Paint containers
- Propane tanks
- Biomedical waste
- Biological waste
- Hazardous waste including:
- Medical waste
- Automotive oils and fluids
- Electronics
- Batteries
- Solvents and oxidizers

Do I need to contact Waste Pro to provide payment/account information before January or will information on file with Waste Management automatically transfer?
Active Waste Management customers do not need to reach out at this time to Waste Pro as we are working with the County and Waste Management to receive customer names and addresses.
Active Waste Management customers will receive information in their first quarterly bill sent by the beginning of January about how to set up payment including autopay.
You will receive a postcard soon with details on your new service as well as an informational cart tag when you receive your new Waste Pro cart.
What should I do with my old Waste Management cart?
Waste Pro is working with Waste Management carts to replace old carts with new Waste Pro carts. The process will begin December 8, 2025, and will take approximately two weeks to complete for the County. In the meantime, please continue to use your current Waste Management cart.
If you have not received a new Waste Pro cart by December 19, 2025, please contact Waste Pro.
I have a 6 CY dumpster from Waste Management. What do I do with my current dumpster?
We are currently working with Waste Management to swap out dumpsters and will begin the process on December 8, 2025. The process will take approximately two weeks to complete for the County. In the meantime, please continue to use your current dumpster.
I have prepaid Waste Management for service beyond December 31, 2025. What should I do?
Please contact Waste Management directly. Accounting and billing information is not transferred to Waste Pro.
Will I receive letters or additional notices regarding services?
You will receive informational cart tags when you receive your new Waste Pro cart. You will receive a postcard soon with additional information regarding your new service.
