Garbage Services:
Garbage is picked up twice per week in either cans or bags. Your service days are either Monday – Thursday, Tuesday – Friday or Wednesday – Saturday. Cans and bags are to be curbside by 7:00 am of your service day.
Recycling Services:
Recycling carts are picked up once a week in either a 35 gallon cart or a 65 gallon cart. Carts are to be at the curb no later than 7:00 am on your service day. Have the opening of the cart facing the road and at least 3 feet from your mail box or your garbage can.
The materials acceptable in your single stream recycling cart are:
- Mixed paper (phone books, magazines, office paper, file folders, brown paper bags, catalogs, paper boxes.
- Cardboard boxes (flattened to fit into the cart)
- Aluminum cans
- Aluminum foil and pie plates
- Metal cans, pots and pans
- Plastics (water bottles, soda bottles, milk jugs, laundry jugs, plastic containers
- Glass bottles and jars
- Empty aerosol cans
Unexceptable Items:
- Hoses
- Any kind of propane tank
- Construction waste
- Plastic bags, bubble wrap, shrink wrap
- Plants, tires, styrofoam, clothing, hazardous waste, electronics, toys
Yard Waste:
Putting small manageable piles of yard waste out to the curb per week will ensure it is picked up on your weekly service day. Cans and bags at the curb need to be 50 lbs. or less. All leaves need to be in bags or cans. Clam piles should have branches no longer than 4 ft. in length. Please ensure that the clam piles are not under overhead wires or trees, drainage areas or close to mail boxes or fire hydrants. Service by clam will be within 72 hours of your regular service day.
