Efficiency is a key dimension of renewable energy, and Waste Pro currently uses the most competitive renewable energy on the market – solar power. We are the first trash-hauling company in Florida to power our regional headquarters office with solar energy, a feat that Waste and Recycling News called “a smart move.” We harness the sun’s power and sell it to utility companies, providing more power to the community with less resources, generating an alternative revenue stream, and removing our usage entirely from the grid.

Our facilities utilizing solar power are located in Sarasota, FL using traditional “roof tiles” and Concord, NC which implemented custom designed solar trees.
