PANAMA CITY, FL – July 21, 2025 – Waste Pro proudly celebrates the individual achievements of five drivers from its Panama City Division, each of whom has
earned the company’s $10K Driver Safety Award. As part of the celebration, each driver was presented with a check for $10,000, a testament to their dedication and commitment to safety.
Grapple Truck Driver David Prince, Automatic-Side Load Residential Driver Ray Sessions, and Automatic-Side Load Residential Driver Dennis Jones all earned their first $10K Driver Safety Award.

Two of the Panama City drivers being recognized, Rafael Alberto and Thomas Batka, have both earned the award 4 times each. That is an impressive 12 years of service with no accidents or at-fault incidents, always prioritizing safety as their top daily concern.

Since its inception in 2004, the 3-Year Safe Driver program has been a testament to Waste Pro’s unwavering commitment to safety. The program has awarded 928 individuals with a $10,000 earned bonus, totaling $9,280,000 to drivers. In 2017, the program expanded to include the 3-Year Safe Helper program, which had very similar criteria. As a result, 151 helpers earned the $5K helper bonus, totaling $755,000. Combined, that is a total of $10,035,000 awarded to eligible Waste Pro drivers and helpers. This program exemplifies the company’s commitment to safety, recognizing the frontline workers for their service and dedication to prioritizing safety.
Waste Pro projects that by year-end, it will award more than $1.85 million in Safety Awards to its drivers and helpers. A total of $955,0000 was earned in 2024 by drivers and helpers for their dedication to safe driving practices while serving the communities in the Southeastern United States. We are committed to continually improving our safety standards and aim to surpass these numbers in the years to come.
President and CEO Sean Jennings shared, “This is impressive and a testament to our safety culture, especially those earning it multiple times. My father, Waste Pro’s founder John Jennings, started this tradition to showcase our commitment to our team and the strong emphasis placed on safely serving the communities we are proud to partner with.”
