GULFPORT, MS – July 7, 2022 – Waste Pro’s Gulfport, MS Division is celebrating three drivers who have recently earned the company’s coveted $10,000 Safety Award.
James Goble, Jerry Hall, and Kevin Knight were all presented with their big checks last week during a celebratory steak lunch. Kevin is a first-time recipient, Jerry has earned the award once before, and James is on his third $10,000 Safety Award.
To earn the award, drivers must go three years without an at-fault accident, injury, or property damage. A similar award of $5,000 is available for helpers who meet similar criteria. Waste Pro began offering the driver award in 2004 and the helper award in 2019. To date, approximately $7 million has been awarded. Waste Pro is on track to award $1 million to drivers and helpers this year.
“With all that is going on in the world around us, it is a pleasure to just take a moment to bask in the success of our incredible team,” said Southern Mississippi Regional Vice President Chris Lockwood.
