Waste Pro was selected to do a sole source negotiation by the City of Tallahassee, Florida’s state capital. As a result of these negotiations, Waste Pro received a seven (7) year contract with a three (3) year option for 46,000 homes. Waste Pro was selected at a rate higher than the existing rate for Tallahassee based upon factors such as Waste Pro’s superior service record. Waste Pro was also awarded a contract for 19,000 homes and 700 commercial accounts for Columbia County (Lake City) Florida. As with many prior occurrences Waste Pro was not the low bidder for Columbia County but was still awarded the contract. Additionally Waste Pro will begin a new long-term municipal contract for all of the residential and commercial services for the City of New Smryna Beach, Florida.
