Waste Pro will not be providing collection and disposal service on these holidays observed by the City of Port Wentworth:

  • New Year’s Day: January 1st
  • Thanksgiving Day: 4th Thursday in November
  • Christmas Day: December 25th

Any disposal and collection service that would have been regularly provided shall be provided the day after the holiday.

Example:

  • If the holiday falls on a Monday, then Monday’s service will be on Tuesday. Tuesday service will be Wednesday, etc.
  • If the holiday falls on a Wednesday then Monday and Tuesday service will not be affected. Wednesday service will be on Thursday, Thursday service will be on Friday, etc.
