Bulk items such as furniture, appliances, etc. may be placed at the curb weekly for collection.  Any items containing freon must be tagged by authorized personnel that the refrigerant has been removed prior to collection.  If items are not tagged, these will be left curbside as they are not compliant.

Collection of construction debris, remodeling, move out materials, etc. is not included as a part of weekly service provided by the City of Meridian.  Should you be in need of construction type open-top containers please contact our local office at (601)483-9777 for pricing and more information.  Containers range in size from 20 to 40 cubic yards.  Services are provided Monday through Saturday.

Loose leaves may be placed curbside for collection.  Seasonally from approximately November through February, Waste Pro will collect unbagged leaves placed curbside with a vacuum truck.  Please ensure no limbs, twigs, etc. are mixed with leaves to prevent damage to the collection vehicle.  At the conclusion of leaf season each year, if you still require leaf removal please bag the leaves and place them curbside for removal.

At this time residential recycling services are not offered to the City of Meridian.  Should Waste Pro and the City agree to provide recycling collection, communication will be published to residents for notification or please continue to visit this site for updates.
