Effective October 1, 2025, Waste Pro will be the new waste and recycling collection provider for the City of Mascotte. Customers can continue to use their current 64- or 95-gallon carts for solid waste and recycling collection. Waste Pro will replace damaged carts with new ones as the collection program starts services throughout the coming months.
Please place your household garbage, yard trash, and recycling curbside by 6:00 a.m. and no more than five (5) feet from the curbside. Lids need to be completely closed and free of any obstacles.

Residuos sólidos: Residential solid waste collection will take place twice a week.
- If you are located south of Highway 50, as well as residents north of Highway 50 who are west of Elizabeth Avenue, trash will be collected on Mondays and Thursdays.
- If you are located north of Highway 50 and east of Elizabeth Avenue, trash will be collected on Tuesdays and Fridays.
Recycling: Recycling is collected once a week on Wednesdays.
Yard Waste: Yard waste is collected once a week on Wednesdays.
Bulk Trash: Bulk trash up to three (3) cubic yards will be collected on the second day of weekly solid waste service. Please call Waste Pro customer service at 407-774-0800 to schedule collection beyond three (3) cubic yards.

Yard waste includes landscaping materials, such as grass, tree, and shrub trimmings. Loose yard waste, grass clippings, branches, leaves, and small twigs shall be placed in a garbage receptacle. Material must not exceed 50 pounds. Twigs and branches less than four (4) feet in length and six (6) inches in diameter must be tied and bundled and weigh less than 50 pounds. Bundle tree and shrub trimmings into lengths of five feet or less or place them into a container. Waste Pro will collect up to two (2) cubic yards of bundled and tied branches. Yard waste will only be collected in biodegradable bags. No plastic bags will be accepted with yard waste.
Tree removal debris by homeowners or contractors is not accepted. Landscapers must dispose of the tree trimmings they have generated.
Bulk Yard Waste: Any yard waste exceeding two (2) cubic yards and four (4) feet in length and six (6) inches in diameter will be considered bulk yard waste.
Any piles exceeding two (2) cubic yards will be tagged with a Non-Collection Notice to alert residents of volume limitations. Bulk yard waste will be assessed for a special handling charge. Call Waste Pro at 407-774-0800 to request a quote and collection schedule.
Bulk Trash
Bulk trash up to three (3) cubic yards will be collected on the second day of weekly trash service. Anything beyond three (3) cubic yards will receive a Non-Collection Notice informing residents of limitations. What is considered bulk trash? Bulk trash includes larger household items such as chairs, tables, couches, fence panels, carpet, bicycles, mattresses, and similar household goods that are unable to fit in carts. White goods, bulk yard waste, and hazardous waste are NOT designated as bulk trash.

Additional services
Rear Door Service
If you are physically unable to place your containers curbside, you may request a medical waiver from the city, which will qualify you for rear door services.
Additional Carts
Additional carts may be ordered by calling Waste Pro at 407-774-0800. All household waste must be placed in containers or bags.
