Please place your household garbage, yard trash and recycling curbside by 6 a.m.
If you are physically unable to place your containers curbside, you may request a medical waiver from the city qualifying you for rear door services.
Household Trash: Each resident is allowed an average of four (4), thirty-two (32) gallon solid waste containers or the equivalent per residential unit per week in approved contract administration container(s), not to exceed 8 cubic yards in a four (4) week period.
Yard Trash: Each resident is allowed an average of four (4), thirty-two (32) gallon solid waste containers, eight (8) plastic bags per residential unit per week, not to exceed 8 cubic yards per four (4) week period, or equivalent bundles. Palm fronds and limbs may be neatly stacked and are not required to be bundled. Limbs shall not exceed four (4) feet in length, six (6) inch radius or sixty (60) pounds. Loose yard waste debris, such as, but not limited, to leaves and pine needle, must be containerized.
Residential Bulk Waste is limited to four (4) pieces of furniture, four (4) waste Tires (vehicle), appliances, carpet, new or departing resident household items and boxes, equipment, or the like; or eight (8) cubic yards of other types of, residential bulk waste or a combination thereof not to exceed eight (8) cubic yards per an eight (8) week period. Customers may order additional bulk pickup’s for an additional charge.
Hazardous waste materials, such as paint, insecticides, motor oil, batteries, etc., are not collected and should be taken to the nearest hazardous waste drop-off site.
Household garbage is collected one (1) times per week.
