Residential Solid Waste Collection (Garbage)
Waste Pro will provide a once-a-week residential curbside garbage collection. Collections will be made on your scheduled collection day, Monday. Customers will be provided one green 95-gallon container.
- Please place your household garbage cart curbside the evening before your collection day or prior to 6:30 a.m. on your collection day.
- Waste Pro provides collection and disposal services for household garbage generated by residential customers. Garbage must be bagged and properly placed in the provided container.
- Household garbage will only be collected when properly placed in the 96–gallon green Waste Pro cart.
- Lids must be closed.
- No material outside of the cart will be collected.
- Carts should be placed curbside, with the handle facing your house, 3 feet from vehicles, shrubs, hydrants, mailboxes, and other carts, etc.
- Do not block sidewalks or place carts in the street. To order an additional cart, you may contact the City of Albemarle’s Solid Waste Division at 704-984-9400, extension 3. An additional fee will apply.

Residential Curbside RECYCLING
Waste Pro will provide residential curbside recycling customers with service every other week. Customers will be provided one blue 95-gallon container.
- Please place your household garbage cart curbside the evening before your collection day or prior to 6:30 a.m. on your collection day.
- Waste Pro provides collection and processing services for household recycling generated by residential customers.
- Do not bag recycling materials
- Household recycling will only be collected when properly placed in the 96- gallon blue Waste Pro cart.
- No material outside of the cart will be collected.

How are my services changing?
Waste Pro will deliver all new garbage and recycling carts to all residents within the City limits. Recycling services are collected every other week, and all Recycling carts are collected the same day as your garbage collection day.

Will my containers change?
New 96-gallon green garbage carts and New 96-gallon blue recycling carts will be provided by Waste Pro.
Each Resident will receive one cart for garbage waste and one cart for recycling.
All carts will have the Waste Pro logo on both sides.
