Residential Collection
Please place your household garbage, yard trash and recycling curbside by 7 a.m.
If you are physically unable to place your containers curbside, you may request a medical waiver from the city qualifying you for rear door services.
Each resident is allowed up to two (2) 64- or 96-gallon carts (or a combination of the two) for garbage, recycling and yard waste collection. Additional carts can be ordered with a monthly charge assessed as outlined in the Fee Schedule. All household waste must be containerized.
If yard waste is unable to be containerized, then it will be collected only if it is tied, stacked and bundled, does not exceed four (4) feet in length (except palm fronds) or four (4) inches in radius, nor be greater than 50 pounds in weight for any piece or segment of such materials. Palm fronds stacked curbside shall be collected whole. All piles in excess of three (3) cubic yards shall be assessed as outlined in the Fee Schedule.

Bulk items such as appliances, furniture, etc. (not hazardous waste) is collected free of charge twice per year during the months of May and November.
Customers may order additional bulk pickup's for an additional charge. Please contact 407-774-0800 for additional information.
Hazardous waste materials, such as paint, insecticides, motor oil, batteries, etc., are not collected and should be taken to the nearest hazardous waste drop-off site:
- Orange County Landfill, 5901 Young Pine Rd., Orlando Monday through Sunday, between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.
- McLeod Road Transfer Station, 5000 L.B. McLeod Rd., Orlando Wednesdays and Saturdays, between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. (This location does not accept electronic waste)
